Parents will learn about the fundamentals of mindfulness as a tool for decreasing stress and being more present.
No previous experience is required. This will be a relaxed, judgment-free environment where all are welcome. Please register early as space is limited.

Kelly Humphries is a school psychologist who has worked since 2001 in the public school system. Looking to better service the students in her schools, Kelly started her training in mindfulness in 2014 through Mindful Schools. She has a passion for working with youth and adults on developing tools to help them thrive in a world with increasing demands and stress. Kelly has worked with children and adolescents diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder throughout her career and has a wealth of knowledge regarding this population. She has also consulted with other school boards and outside agencies including health care regarding mindfulness-based practices.
